Mr. SP Singh – Director and Founder of Shivalp Foundation

Surendra Pratap Singh is a retired government officer with nearly four decades of service experience, during which he was deeply involved in numerous social initiatives. He hails from a farming family in Prayagraj, where he was inspired by his ancestors, who generously donated their land for the establishment of a government school. This legacy of altruism deeply influenced Singh, instilling in him a lifelong commitment to social welfare and community development.

Throughout his career, Singh has been dedicated to the upliftment of rural communities, focusing on improving education, healthcare, and agricultural practices. He believes in the power of education to transform lives and has worked tirelessly to support educational programs and infrastructure in rural areas. His efforts have included organizing literacy campaigns, providing scholarships for underprivileged students, and advocating for improved school facilities.

In addition to education, Singh has been a strong proponent of accessible healthcare in rural regions. He has been involved in setting up medical camps, facilitating mobile health clinics, and supporting local health workers to ensure that even the most remote villages have access to basic medical services. His work in healthcare has significantly improved the quality of life for many rural residents, reducing mortality rates and enhancing overall well-being.

Singh's agenda also includes modernizing agricultural practices to increase productivity and sustainability. He has promoted the adoption of advanced farming techniques, provided training for farmers, and facilitated access to quality seeds and equipment. By empowering farmers with the knowledge and resources they need, Singh has helped many rural families achieve greater economic stability and self-sufficiency.

Surendra Pratap Singh's enduring commitment to social welfare and his efforts to uplift rural communities reflect his deep-rooted belief in giving back to society and ensuring a better future for all.
